I somehow woke at 4:45. Since I woke up, I poke at my email and made a DW acct. Just a name snag for me. I have no intention of using mine.

I saw your email pop up and I thought, "Woah, you're up early!"

I totally prefer LJ and have no intention of defecting. But I wanted my name, and like having the DW account just in case anything interesting happens over there.

Yeah I'm just lying here using my iPod. But now I'm going to try going back to sleep.

Oh, I'd be SO MAD. I feel bad for all the celebs that have their names appropriated and have to go with something cutesy instead.

Yes! Although from what I understand about Twitter is that you can change your name and everything transfers over. Apparently recently the (real) Michael Sheen joined and had to be MichaelSheen1 but then they managed to get the (fake) Michael Sheen deleted or some such so he could claim that one instead. But that's probably a rare exception!

I am amused that some go with the same cutesy kind of name - like "the_real_shaq" and "the_real_nash". Ah, basketball Twitters...

Yeah, Jason Statham is jasonstatham01. I mean, really? And not that I like her, but Kim Kardashian had to be therealkimk or something like that.
